The Patrol Division has ten basic functions: Enforce municipal ordinances and state code, Patrol the city to ensure the safety of its citizens, and initiate cases regarding offenses committed against a person and/or his or her property.
The Patrol Division currently consists of 27 officers and 1 commander.
The Motorcycle Division was initially started by Chief Michael Valsi in 1994.
